3 Great gigs these next 3 Sundays

Hi, yes sorry we've not been doing alot of communicating of late but realise that we have gigs now on our next 3 Sunday nights and havent told anyone about them...

And it would be a shame for you to miss out on these crackers, so...

    This Sunday May 19th

Serious Sam Barrett - with double bass Rock n Roll edge. £8

    Sunday May 26th

Caitlin Park: not your average neo-folk musician. A singer-songwriter from Sydney, she has single-handedly taken this genre and pulled it to the left with her abstract composition, electro-acoustic stylings and film nostalgia £8

    Sunday June 2nd

Misty's Little Adventure: Misty's Little Adventure  are Misty's big adventure with the fat trimmed off! So I reckon we're expecting Grand Master Gareth (hailed as "The New God" by John Peel) and some brass, but probably not Erotic Volvo.

Anyways - It's all the sure fire hits from this Brummy Super-cult group with added intimacy. Most people have heard of them! and if you've heard of them you'll most likely love them, but if you haven't heard of them - look them up on Youtube (they've got like loads of brilliant videos featuring some terrific guests and collaborators such as Noddy Holder, Patrick Moore, Crumpled Up Guy and more!...£8 too

Andre Herman Dune and Freschard come out to play ~ this Sunday!

Two of our favourite guest artists bring on the sunshine this Sunday as they stop by on their non stop world tour full of non stop song and party fever!

Andre is one part of the incredible Herman Dune, and is equally brilliant when inhabiting his Stanley Brinks alter ego. Freschard is French charm personified, and together they create a beautiful chemistry with limitless songs and generous warmth.

You should come and see what we mean!

    This Sunday from 7.

THE LEEDS CITY STOMPERS THIS SUNDAY, PLUS TWO MORE PERFECT GIGS THIS MONTH

    Newsletter 03.04.13

    THE LEEDS CITY STOMPERS

This Sunday The Leeds City Stompers bring back The Matchbox Cabaret in some no uncertain style. Stomping and a hollerin and riding the double bass express back outa here! ?

Yes, these urban Lovesick Cowboys sure know how to slap up a party... fronted by the iresistable David Broad, from Leeds via Nashville.

    £8 from 7.

    and thence...

Nick Pynn and Kate Daisy Grant

... we have two of the next greatest shows on earth on April 21st and then April 28th, when first of all Nick Pynn ("Consistently the best thing I see at the Edinburgh Fringe" Stewart Lee) and Kate Daisy Grant - playing a myriad orchestra of children's toys and grand pianos, bring their superbly inventive pocket orchestra of sounds to The Waiting Room.

    Andre Herman Dune and Freschard

And then lo and behold - the deliciously hard-drinking, hard-playing, cloud atlas navigating - Stanley Brinks (aka Andre Herman Dune of world famous Herman Dune fame) and French Freshard - come around to see us again.

They play an uplifting mix of European folk, Calypso and house-party songs influenced by time spent living in every country on the planet.

As Herman Dune, Stanley/Andre enjoyed huge success and acclaim, and as Stanley Brinks his cover of Bronski Beat's Small Town Boy was used in the Skins series for example!

    £8 - from 7 - April 28th
