Various artists, poets and performers, plus all-comers will bring together a tribute night at the launch of new publication The Captain's Tower, presented by David Wolley:
Seventy poets from seven decades and of seven nationalities - including Simon Armitage, Caroline Bird, Matthew Caley, Jane Draycott, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Mark Ford, Linda France, Peter Finch, Allen Ginsberg, Tony Hoagland, Roddy Lumsden, Michael McClure, Roger McGough, Glyn Maxwell, Robert Minhinnick, Paul Muldoon, Jeremy Reed, Carol Rumens, Matthew Sweeney and Luke Wright - celebrate and pay tribute to Bob Dylan at seventy – acknowledging the evolution of his culturally defining, innovative and restless fifty year career within the history of recorded sound whilst invoking the canon of the spoken and written word.
The night will include poetry, song performances and film footage.
