Waiting Room News
NICK PYNN - March 7th.
We highly recommend that you see Nick Pynn at The Waiting Room this Sunday.
"Consistently the best thing I see at Edinburgh Fringe" - Stewart Lee.
His early appearances here, and with Jane Bom-bane helped us to define the spirit of our Sunday nights; incredibly inventive and mentally and mechanically dexterous, Nick creates sublime original music and a full orchestra of sound with virtuoso violin and dulcimer, but also wine glasses, typewriter and theramin.
Together with Jane Bom-Bane he recently won The Spirit of The Edinburgh Fringe critics choice Award.
Nick is much in demand as a collaborator with artists as diverse as God of Hell Fire - Arthur Brown, Rich Hall, Steve Harley and The Sugababes... He was last seen playing a double bed bass with The Lost and Found Orchestra at The Sydney Opera House. And has recently completed his latest "solo" album pieced together with a full orchestra arrangement of guest musicians, each live instrument recorded individually in his bedroom studio.
Hugely enjoyable - Nick's show will especially appeal to anybody who has seen and enjoyed Thomas Truax, Dave Swarbrick and David Thomas Broughton at The Waiting Room in recent months.
Sunday March 7th. From 7pm. Tickets £7.50.
